So I just found out that the windows I paid $10,000’s of dollars for and some little plastic things in the tracks. Bumpers, I thought.
Wrong. Those were for shipping. And they should all be removed. But guess what. No window contractors ever remove them.
In my office, for 4 years now, those little plastic thingies have been in my windows, sitting there. I wondered why all of my windows had problems locking shut. Well, now I know!
Take out the plastic thingies! Windows seal better. Windows lock better. Windows are better!
